This blog is an attempt on my part to pin to one online location all manner of relevant, amongst other things, online resources relating to the inter-state level normative frameworks that govern various aspects of energy and food. The main focus of this blog has been the multilateral trade system and other inter-state normative instances that engage it or have implications for it.
Legal rights and obligations of States in relation to their economic activity are to be found in a plethora of sources including in bilateral and multilateral treaty arrangements, and in general international law. Naturally, the WTO system heavily features in this blog to the extent a matter involves at least one WTO member. This blog, however, goes beyond the WTO system, to, hopefully, provide a fuller tour d’horizon of the legal norms that may be at play. That said, it is a work in progress…
